Huawei PixLab V1 Color Inkjet printer launches on HarmonyOS 3 with AI features
Huawei has launched the PixLab V1 Color Inkjet Printer. The gadget is part of a new range from the company running on the latest HarmonyOS 3. The multi-function printer can print, copy and scan. Primary color printing ensures your documents are a faithful reproduction, with 3D Lut color tuning, color temperature follow-up and aperture score technologies.
An AI handwriting erase feature can wipe writing from a page, such as a form, so that you can fill it in again. Huawei suggests it is easy to print thanks to HarmonyOS Smart Empowerment and HyperTerminal technology, allowing you to send jobs wirelessly from your laptop or smartphone. You can also control the device via touch panel controls.
The company indicates that the ink cartridges are simple to change as they run out of ink; they are expected to last for 7,500 black and white or 4,000 color printed pages. When copying, the gadget can intelligently straighten documents placed at an angle. The printer can copy documents in HD mode at 600 x 600 dpi and print at up to 1,200 x 4,800 dpi. The device has 512 MB + 8 GB storage, with support for Bluetooth 5.0, plus 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi connectivity.
You can currently pre-order the PixLab V1 Color Inkjet Printer in China with a 100 yuan (~US$15) or 200 yuan (~US$30) deposit, with the device costing 1,499 yuan (~US$222). It is unclear whether or when the gadget could launch in other markets.
